Anna began studying the violin at 7 with the Suzuki method. She continued after several years of Suzuki training with traditional violin training until she graduated from high school. Undergrad, Chinese medical school and starting up her own Chinese medical practice took up much of her focus in life, but at age 33, she has managed to re-incorporate the study of music into her life seriously-the Suzuki method way. Anna highly recommends Jasmin and Tim Putnam as teachers for your students interested in mastering the violin. Jasmin has been playing for over 40 years. With the Suzuki method’s philosophy of musical learning, Jasmin successfully taught her husband, Tim, how to play in his 40s.
